An international team of scientists has mapped the evolutionary relationships between China's 30,000 flowering plant species, uncovering a distinct regional pattern in biodiversity. Une équipe internationale de scientifiques a cartographié les relations évolutives entre les 30 000 espèces végétales florissantes de la Chine, révélant ainsi un modèle régional distinct en matière de biodiversité. L'Est de la Chine est un "musée" floral avec un riche éventail de lignées anciennes et de parents éloignés, tandis que les provinces occidentales sont un "berceau" évolutionnaire pour les espèces plus récentes et plus étroitement apparentées.
