This Friday (24 April), the Government’s consultation on the designation of a second tranche of Marine Conservation Zones (MCZs) will close. Over the past 12 weeks, the Government has been asking whether it should designate 23 sites around England as Marine Conservation Zones – a type of protected area at sea.
