Ce dispositif partenarial permet de donner des informations sur l’état et l’évolution de la biodiversité en Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur et de les rendre disponibles et accessibles auprès des pouvoirs publics et du grand public. Il est en lien avec de nombreux partenaires intervenant sur la nature : associations naturalistes, organismes publics et de recherche, gestionnaires d'espaces naturels… qui eux-mêmes contribuent aux actions de l’observatoire.
